Junior High School

Junior High School preparing students to find their calling and passion, equipping them to be ready for further study. There are variety opportunities for students to explore and develop their talents and gifts. We believe that growing in wisdom is a never-ending journey and we state our hope for our graduate in SDH graduate profile. The junior high school caters to students from gr. 7 up to gr. 9. We welcome students to enroll in any grade level in senior school. Our final years’ assessment follows the Indonesian government requirements.

Our prayers are that our students recognize their abilities and talents, grow in their faith and relationship with Christ, and have a Biblical Christian perspective as the foundation of their actions. We commit to nurture and educate our students as knowledgeable and skillful disciples of Christ to respond to situations in this broken world and act redemptively.

SDH Snior School Curriculum

CURRICULUM

SDH positioned itself as a national school. SDH secondary school uses national curriculum, the 2013 national curriculum. We also develop an SDH Curriculum Framework that enriches the national curriculum and has made the SDH curriculum unique. The curriculum tailored meets the needs of the school vision and the required competencies by the Indonesian government.

SDH Curriculum Framework is Christ-centered, Bible-based, student-oriented, teacher-directed, and community-connected. SDH Curriculum Framework uses an authentic and holistic learning approach.The assessment is based on the principle of assessment as justice, blessing and justice. Thus, assessment becomes a means for students to grow and develop their talents to glorify God and be a blessing to others and the environment. SDH Curriculum Framework develops Mission Service Learning (MSL) as a pedagogy that integrates real-world experiences with learning and assessment in the classroom.
