Celebrating Seven Years of Ministry: Dian Harapan Holland Village School's Journey

On August 3rd, 2016, the ministry of Dian Harapan Holland Village School in Manado, North Sulawesi began. We are humbly thankful for God’s sovereignty, this year Dian Harapan Holland Village enters its 7th year of ministry and today serves more than 900 students. All because of God’s grace!

Commemorating the school’s 7th anniversary, all of the school communities are expected to be aware of our dependence on God and realize this calling as a great voice coming from God for this ministry.

The theme of the school anniversary celebration is “A Living Sacrifice”. It reflects and is taken from Dian Harapan and Lentera Harapan School year 2023/2024 which is “Devoted to Christ”. The call to “devotion” should not be applied to one person, but the “A” in the theme refers to the unity of the body of Christ, which is the community of Dian Harapan Holland Village.

With an abundance of gratitude and prayers for God’s grace in the journey of Dian Harapan Holland Village, some of the events were done to invite the school community to celebrate and reflect:

On August 3, 2023, we had a school worship from Junior to Senior students, teachers, and staff. Realizing that it is only because of God that Dian Harapan school could stand strong until today. Through the ups and downs, we realize and proclaim that Christ is indeed present in this community.
On September 2, 2023, to build a strong bond between all of the teachers and staff as one unity, we held a Sports day in an effort to grow in healthy relationships and physical bodies.
